Patient Records of Dr. Peter Lee, Liberal

The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts announces that patient medical records previously maintained by Dr. Peter Lee, Liberal, whose license was revoked in August 2008, are now being maintained by a records custodian. Following the revocation of the license of Peter Lee, M.D., Liberal, the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts was notified that patient records were found in a dumpster outside the practice. Additional boxes of patient records were found at a house in Liberal that had been vacated. Upon notification in August 2008, the KSBHA filed a petition in Shawnee County District Court that a records custodian be appointed. KSBHA was awarded custody in May 2009.
