NOTE: As of December 4, 2009, there is a $25.00 fee for written licensure verifications on the following professions: MD, DO, DPM, DC, PA, ND, LRT, RT, OT and OTA
Physician Clinical Support System - free resource funded by SAMHSA regarding prescribing opioids, the care of opioid dependent patients, and the care of patients with cronic pain being treated with methadone.
The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts is comprised
of 15 members appointed by the Governor, 12 licensees, and three
members from the general public. The Board licenses or registers
13 health care professions and out-of-state contact lens distributors.
The mission of the Board is to protect the public by requiring those
professionals to meet and maintain certain qualifications and standards
of conduct.
